30 Day Writing Challenge: Day 5

Day 5 — Your dreams

Okay, so, there’s this quote from Never Been Kissed where Aldys talks about her dreams. I can’t find the direct quote but those are pretty much my dreams.

I want to be a writer, a painter, a photographer, a librarian, a storm chaser, a wife, a mother, and above all else, a great friend.

Someday I’m going to publish a book. Not sure what it will be about yet but currently it wouldn’t surprise me if it was a LGBT fiction novel. It’ll either be extreme angst or supreme fluff because that’s what I seem to do well. I think I’ve decided that my pen name is just going to be Elven. Mostly because it’ll just look pretty in some swirly font.

I love to paint. I’m not that great at it but it’s something I enjoy. I have a picture in my mind that I want to do… I just can’t seem to find the right things to use to make it. Plus I want it to be in oil paint and oil’s are freak’n expensive x.x

Now, photography, that is something I have some talent at. At least people tell me I have a good eye. I’ve gotten a lot of comments on my photography. Now if people would just buy it! Ideally I’d like to publish them as post cards.

A librarian is going to be easy. That’s what I’m working toward with my schooling. Teaching degree now. Master’s in Library Science soon.

A storm chaser… not something I’m going to be able to become officially because I suck at math. But it’s something I want to do before I die. It’ll be amazing.

A wife. Well, I think that’ll be pretty doable. Surely one day I’ll get married.

A mother. Even if I have to adopt, I’m going to have a kid someday. Not right now. I’m enjoying my own freedom to much to have a kid of my own just yet.

A great friend. I’m pretty good at this now… but I can always get better.
