I have a friend, Whitney, who graduated last year and I don't get to see her that often even though she lives only about 10 miles from school. Anyway, she texts me last week and says there is a chance she'll have two tickets to the Justin Moore/Miranda Lambert/Brad Paisley concert in Knoxville for last night and wanted to know if I'd like to go if she got them.

Um... duh? Would totally love to go! :D

So we made plans to go to Knoxville, do some shopping, have lunch and then go the concert. Basically just making a girl's day of it.

Well it was awesome. I love Whitney. We could so be sister's. We hit up Barnes & Noble, got two new books Old Magic by Marianne Curley and Eleventh Grade Burns by Heather Brewer. Can't wait to have time to read them. I'm currently working my way through The Time Traveler's Wife and The Virgin Suicides.

We then went to Best Buy where I found the new Casting Crowns CD. I learned that Best Buy has a pretty big selection of anime. I was impressed.

Lunch at O'Charley's was wonderful too. Fave restaurant ever. By the way, go there and get the new cinnamon milkshake, it's FANTASTIC.

We got to the place the concert was being held at about two hours early. We sat in the car, read and talked until an hour before show time and then went to find our seats. Thanks to Whitney's mom's friend who had these tickets but couldn't go, they were amazing!

My only beef was that the sound was to loud. I have a massive headache right now... but it was so much fun. Until about halfway through Miranda Lambert's set, this guy and his girlfriend/wife showed up and buddy, he was LIT. I think I got a little buzzed off just sitting next to him.

Brad Paisley has like a "WOW" stage presence. He was totally awesome.
