Day 17 – Your favorite memory, in great detail
When I was 3 I got my first bike (with training wheels). Now, that isn’t the fave memory, though that bike was completely rock’n.
My fave memory is of a late summer day at my nanas. I spent a lot of my childhood at my nanas. One this warm afternoon my nana decided to take her sewing, which included clothes for my Barbie’s, outside. She got a chair and sat under a large shade tree while I rode my bike up and down her driveway. She had a very long driveway.
Whenever I would ride by her I would laugh and wave at her. As I did this she was singing, “Here she comes Miss America, she’s so beautiful…”
It’s been over ten years since I’ve heard my nana’s voice but I will never forget her doing that or how happy it made me as she did.
