Drabble: Booty Call
Fandom: Twilight
Pairing: Jasper/Seth
Prompt: Booty call
Jacob scrolled through the contacts in his cell phone in a bored fashion. It was still early in the afternoon but he had finished everything that needed to be done that day. Finally his scrolling landed him on Seth’s name. Maybe his younger pack mate was just as bored as he was and wanted to go catch a movie in Port Angeles. Jacob hit the Send button and brought the phone to his ear.
Seth picked up on the second ring, just as Jacob thought it was going to voice mail. “Hey Jake.”
“Hey Seth, you busy? I was wondering if you wanted to catch a movie with me.”
“Oh man, that would be great but um…”
“But what? You got homework or something?” Jacob questioned.
“No, I’m not home.”
“Oh, well I could come get you, wherever you are.”
“Um… that wouldn’t be the best idea. I’m actually uh… kinda busy.”
“Tell him what your busy doing or maybe who,” a new voice purred.
Jacob pulled his phone away from his ear and blinked at it. That was a male voice, one with a certain southern twang to it. It didn’t belong to anyone in the pack. “Seth?”
“I’m just… busy Jake,” Seth finally said.
It took Jacob a moment but then it finally clicked. “You’re in the middle of a booty call!”
“No!” Seth exclaimed though Jacob wasn’t sure it was because he was denying his statement or because he could hear the phone moving.
“Haha!” Jacob heard the other voice exclaim and guessed that he was the winner of the little scuffle. “Sorry Jacob, Seth is otherwise occupied at the moment. It’s… time for round two. Jasper out.”
And with that the call was ended. Jacob could only stare at the screen of his cell phone, his mouth hanging open in shock. What the hell had just happened here?
