Drabble: The First Kiss
Fandom: Twilight
Pairing: Jasper/Seth
Prompt: The first kiss
The Cullen’s were shocked when the front door of their home opened and slammed closed, a furious looking Seth marching in. All eyes went to Jasper, who was on the other side of Seth’s glare. Jasper looked a little ill under the effects of Seth’s anger but he stayed where he was unsure of what he had done that had caused such anger in his boyfriend.
“I want just one thing,” Seth stated.
“What is that Seth?” Jasper questioned.
“Tell me. Tell me why you won’t touch me.”
“Seth-”
“Edward and Jacob fucked on their first date. We’ve been on twenty-eight! Do I consistently have bad breath? Am I actually repulsive and you’re just taking pity on me? Does my wolf scent turn you off?” Tears had started to gather in Seth’s eyes and he was trembling with anger.
Jasper stood shaking his head. “None of that Seth. You have wonderful breath. Your wolf scent is… intoxicating.” He reached out and rubbed a thumb down Seth’s cheek. “And I would never lead you on like that.”
Seth sniffed. “Then why haven’t you even kissed me?”
Jasper sighed softly. Seth’s anger had been replaced with sad curiosity. “To me…the first kiss is the sexist thing in the world.”
Seth’s eyes widened. “Really?”
“Yes, the way I see it, anyone can jump into bed together. But a first kiss… that’s something special.” Jasper gave Seth a small smile. “I feel… deeply… for you Seth. Each moment we spend together makes that feeling grow. When we share our first kiss… it will be…”
“Special?” Seth whispered.
Jasper grinned. “The sexiest thing in the world.”
