1. Favourite childhood book? - Black Beauty by Anna Sewell. I was obsessed with horses when I was little so a book about a horse was right up my alley. My dad would read me a chapter a night. I still have that copy of the book with his old business card marking where we stopped.
2. What are you reading right now? - Chasing Seth by J.R. Loveless, The King by Linda Rios-Brook, Understanding English Grammar by Martha J. Kolln, One World of Literature by Shirley Lim, Teaching in the Secondary School by Tom V. Savage & Grammar to Go: How It Works and How To Use It by Barbara Goldstein.
3. What books do you have on request at the library? - Something on Reading Across the Curriculum for my research paper and The King - Linda Rios-Brook.
4. Bad book habit? - Buying them when I don't have the money.
5. What do you currently have checked out at the library? - 3 books but I haven't started reading them... can't remember what the 3 are. They're on my "to-read" list on Goodreads.com.
6. Do you have an e-reader? - Mhm, I have a Kindle that my parents got me for my college graduation present.
7. Do you prefer to read one book at a time, or several at once? - Usually one at a time. But I'll make an exception if I have them in a different media. Like, I will read 3 books at a time if one is on audio, another is in book form and the third is on my Kindle for PC.
8. Have your reading habits changed since starting a blog? - No, I just do a Book End Review over what I've read during the year at the end of the year.
9. Least favourite book you read this year (so far?) - One's that I've given 1 star to... Heart of Darkness by Conrad, My Sister's Keeper by Jodi Picoult, Vanished Smile: The Mysterious Theft of Mona Lisa by R.A. Scotti, Wintergirls by Laurie Halse Anderson, Breaking Dawn by Stephenie Meyer (this one got 0 stars).
10. Favourite book you've read this year? - Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. I haven't seen the movie yet but the book was amazing!
11. How often do you read out of your comfort zone? - Anytime something out of it catches my attention.
12. What is your reading comfort zone? - Usually YA fiction.
13. Can you read on the bus? - For about an hour then I have to take short break. However, if I'm reading on my Kindle I don't have to.
14. Favourite place to read? - In bed or in a comfy chair with one leg swung over the side.
15. What is your policy on book lending? - I make people write down the title, their name and the date they took the book.
16. Do you ever dog-ear books? - Haven't in years.
17. Do you ever write in the margins of your books? - No
18. Not even with text books? - Textbooks are different, I'll highlight, write, whatever... but usually only if I plan on keeping it.
19. What is your favourite language to read in? - Uh... English, it's the only language I can read in.
20. What makes you love a book? - Being able to get lost in the words and situations.
21. What will inspire you to recommend a book? - If I really love it and think I know someone else who will like it.
22. Favourite genre? - YA fiction.

29. Name a case in which hype ruined your reading experience. - Harry Potter. I put off reading the 6th book for a couple of years so I could forget all the spoilers I'd heard.
30. How often do you agree with critics about a book? - Very rarely.
31. How do you feel about giving bad/negative reviews? - I usually don't feel bad unless I have a friend who's read a book and they absolutely loved it.
32. If you could read in a foreign language, which language would you chose? - French or Spanish... or Russian... or Japanese...
33. Most intimidating book you've ever read? - I can't recall any book that has intimidated me.

37. How often have you returned books to the library unread? - Only a handful of times.
38. Favourite fictional character? - Jace Wayland from The Mortal Instruments series. He makes me laugh.
39. Favourite fictional villain? - He-Who-Must-Not-Be-Named, a.k.a. Lord Voldemort.
40. Books I'm most likely to bring on vacation? - Anything on my Kindle, it's so much easier to carry than packing 15 books.
41. The longest I've gone without reading. - Uhh... a few days?
42. Name a book that you could/would not finish. - The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks.
43. What distracts you easily when you're reading? - Sudden, loud noises.
44. Favourite film adaptation of a novel? - Fried Green Tomatoes. So funny.
45. Most disappointing film adaptation? - The Outsiders. Terrific cast but they left to much out.
46. The most money I've ever spent in the bookstore at one time? - Um... we won't go there...
47. How often do you skim a book before reading it? - Fairly often.
48. What would cause you to stop reading a book half-way through? - Only if it's truly terrible or if I'm extremely bored.
49. Do you like to keep your books organized? - Oh yeah. Everything is organized by genre, which are alphabetical. Series are in order by number. Books within the genre are organized by the author's last name. What? I have a lot of time on my hands.
50. Do you prefer to keep books or give them away once you've read them? - Keep them.
51. Are there any books you've been avoiding? - Um... no, don't think so.
52. Name a book that made you angry. - Breaking Dawn, what a waste of paper... the entire series was honestly.
53. A book you didn't expect to like but did? - The Wednesday Letters by Jason F. Wright
54. A book that you expected to like but didn't? - The Notebook by Nicholas Sparks
