Title: And a day
Couple: Jasper/Seth
Prompt: #36: Time

Seth sat on the roof of the Cullen house as snow swirled around him. His breath created white clouds in the cold air but he didn’t notice the cold, how could he with his above average body temperature? He didn’t know how long he had been sitting out here, probably thirty minutes.
He jumped when arms as cold as the air around him encircled his waist. “Easy my little wolf,” Jasper purred. “It’s just me.”
Seth sighed and relaxed against Jasper’s hard form. “Sorry, guess I was just lost in my thoughts.”
Jasper nuzzled Seth’s neck. “And just what were you thinking about? When I left the room you were still sleeping soundly.”
Seth found himself smiling and tilting his head to the side. “Oh you know, the usual; world peace, how to solve world hunger, the cure for cancer…”
“Come now Seth, be serious.”
“…time,” he whispered.
“Time?” Jasper questioned. “What about it?”
“How it catches up with us all… eventually.”
Jasper hummed thoughtfully. “Well that eventually will be a long time off for us since you won’t age as long as you keep phasing.”
“You’re right,” Seth said kissing Jasper’s chin. “We have forever.”
“Forever and a day,” Jasper agreed sealing Seth’s lips with his own.
