I looked forward to this book for months after I saw the movie. I am having a love affair with the movie, just so you know, if you haven't seen it you should. It's fantastic. The book? To me, not so much. I hated the book. I gave it one star. I hate the voice it was written in, I hated the characters, I even hated the story.

I was so disappointed.

I wouldn't tell a soul - but I positively HATED that stupid book - DIARY OF A GEISHA.
I saw the movie and it was alright, so I thought the book would be soooo much better; everyone I knew kept saying that. Not me, I loathed it.
Was so disappointed. After all, when I saw GIRL WITH DRAGON TATOO I was able to go back and finish the book - which I then did enjoy. But not GEISHA.
