He had Jasper’s nose and lips but those cheekbones were all Seth. The little hair he had was blonde and shone in the afternoon light that streamed through the windows. Seth traced a gentle finger around the little face, over his nose and lips. A tear fell, landing on those lips that were tinged a light blue. He was so cold.

Standing on the porch of Jacob and Edward’s home, Jasper watched as Luka chased after Lilliana and Taylor on wobbly legs. His two year olds delighted screams brought a smile to Jasper’s lips. Leah stepped up next to Jasper, taking a large bite out of an apple.
“Kid sure is growing,” she commented.
“Sure is,” Jasper agreed. “Seems like just yesterday we were giving him his first bath.”

Prompt: First bath
Jasper kneeled next to the bathtub, plugged the drain and then turned the water on, adjusting the temperature as the water ran. He let the water fill the tub until it came through the mesh at the bottom of the baby tub and then turned the water off. “Water’s ready Seth,” Jasper called. He looked up with a smile as Seth entered the bathroom, their newborn, Luka, wrapped up in a baby blanket in his arms.

Jasper stood in the doorway of the house on Isle Esme watching Seth. It has been a year since Akela and while his little wolf had gotten a little better, he was still horribly depressed. Jasper’s own feelings echoed his lover’s; it had been and was torture to nearly have a baby only for him to be…still born. He sighed and stepped out onto the pool deck. His skin shown slightly in the sunlight but thanks to an invention by Carlisle he didn’t sparkle as he used to.

Jacob glanced over at Seth as they ran through the forest. They didn’t patrol a lot these days but he liked to make sure, at least once a month, that nothing unwanted was getting near their families. He knew being on patrol was the last place Seth wanted to be, and he didn’t need the pack mind to tell him that, but Jacob also thought it might be good for his cousin. He had thought that maybe being on patrol would take Seth’s mind off of things…but, that didn’t seem to be the case if the flashes Jacob was getting in his mind meant anything; Seth was trying so hard to block him out.

Luka gripped the handlebars of his bike as he left his school. His mouth was tight with worry, lips set in a frown. He was worried about his Dad; even though his Papa and the rest of the family assured him Seth would be fine. Seth had grown weaker over the past three months since his pregnancy had been discovered. Luka knew he was resting and eating well, but still he worried. He remembered the memories Embry had shared with him of his Dad’s pregnancy with him…it had been horrible; he had nearly died in Jacob’s opinion. Turning down the dirt path toward Embry’s cabin he sped up a bit, anxious to talk to his imprint.

It had been three days since Seth had woken after Luka’s birth. Carlisle had removed the IVs and feeding tube the day before once he was certain Seth could keep food down on his own. Drabble: Snow Angels

Prompt: Mpreg – snow angels
The snow was fresh, light and fluffy, perfect for playing in. Jamie watched Cody’s brown eyes widen as Jack made the snowman they were building start to dance. He laughed at their three year old son’s expression before checking around himself. Sure that he wasn’t going to fall on anything, Jamie spread his arms out and fell backwards. He gave a soft “oof” as he landed but then started moving his arms and legs to create a snow angel.
“You should be more careful,” Jack chided as he leaned on his staff beside Jamie.
“I learned what I could and couldn’t do with Cody,” Jamie replied. “I couldn’t do this if I were a couple more months along so I’m going to enjoy it. Look Jack, I’ve made a snow angel.”
Jack lowered himself into the snow beside Jamie. Reaching out he laid his hand on Jamie’s rounded stomach. “You didn’t need to make a snow angel; you already are a snow angel.”
Jamie was about to reply, his cheeks already warm with a blush, but then Cody came flying at them. With a little help from Jack the wind caught him and he flew over Jamie, into Jack’s arms. Both went rolling in the freshly fallen snow, laughing like crazy.
