Seth was happy, easy to please, caring, smart, and witty. Those were the things that everyone knew about him. But there was a side that Marcus had seen a few times that would have shocked that “everyone”.
Jasper was the empath. He was the one who could sense and change others emotion as easily as breathing came to humans. But Seth had the uncanny ability to sense another’s feelings without the enhanced ability. He also didn’t have the power to change how someone felt with the blink of an eye but he would do everything in his power to make that person happy.
Seth got depressed. That is the part that would have shocked everyone. Sometimes when the trials of being a shifter, being away from his family, dealing with the torture Aro and Jane were determined to put him through… yes, he got depressed. And now was one of those times.
Marcus moved up behind Seth silently, wrapping his arms around his shifter’s waist trying to comfort him. Seth relaxed against him but he would still feel the tension that lingered in the warm body. Marcus kissed Seth’s neck.
“Don’t give up Seth, you are loved,” he whispered.
