Well this week is my final week of my first year of college. Note the key word there: final. No I am not dropping out, I love college way to much for that.
It's finals week! Yup, those super hard tests that cover everything and anything, sometimes even stuff you haven't covered that come at the end of the year. My finals schedule is pretty easy.
Monday: English Comp2: 8-9:55am, World Civ 1648-now: 3-5pm
Tuesday: None at all
Wed.: Color & Design: 1pm
Thursday: Ren.-Mod. Art: 1pm
Yup, that's right I'm done on Thursday at around 2pm! YES!
I had my English and World Civ today. Both I was kinda stressing over but not as badly as my friend Jamie. In the English we only had to write a 500-750 word essay. The professor gave us two choices and one of them was "The Cask of Amontillado" by Edgar Allen Poe. One guess at who I chose (even without knowing the other). I feel I did good, I'm a goth by nature so I can connect with what Poe is saying. Plus "The Cask of Amontillado" just happens to be my favorite Poe story of all time.
World Civ? Well... Dr. Wake said that if we knew our terms list we would do fine. THERE ARE ABOUT 300 TERMS. I was trying to finish them up last night but around 11:30pm I decided that if I didn't know the stuff by then that I wasn't going to.
I studied while I finished my last three and a half hours of work study.
So my class was in our normal room and Dr. Wake was giving us time to settle down. This girl poked her head in and said, "Dr. Wake, where is room 220? Is it that one in there?"
"220 in Gatlaif?" Dr. Wake asked.
"Yeah yeah, that's it. It's got a G out beside the number."
"Yes, that's room 220 in Gatlaif," Dr. Wake told her.
She stood there for a moment and then looked around.
"What building am I in?" She asked.
Our whole class busted out laughing. Dr. Wake just shook his head and said, "That's a new one."
Well tomorrow I have no finals but I will be busy all day finishing my Color & Design portfolio. Fun times right there.
