I had to be up at 6:25am this morning to get ready to take the PPST at 7:30. I was almost running late because I was replying to people on here and on AA. But I got to the building in plenty of time, since the ladies running it were running a bit behind themselves.

I didn't sleep very well last night but amazingly I was awake this morning and I'm only now starting to crash. Great thing about Saturdays, I can sleep tomorrow.

My testing group only had four people in it. It was great because our proctor and speaker were really nice and before we got started when were all joking and having a great time. They had to move us to a different room because of a stupid Graduate class that just "could not" be moved. Only 1 of the 4 of us had to take both tests. I just had to take the math section then I got to leave for an hour and then come back for the writing section. There were two people in this group, me and the boy who had to do both sections before.

I feel like I did better this time, I'm hoping for passing scores on both sections. At least I knew I had seen all the math formula's this time... I may not have known how to work them but I had seen them before.

The writing section I felt ready for. It was around 25 multiple choice questions where you had to identify the error in the passage. I have been doing quite a bit of editing and betaing lately so I think that really helped get me up to par. The essay went well too, at least I feel like it did, the statement was "Should a foreign language be a course requirement for students who plan to be teachers?" We had to discuss whether or not we agreed or disagreed and then explain why.

Both the guy and I in my group finished with 10 minutes left and we were just staring at our speaker. She was kinda shocked when she looked up and saw us both staring at her. She asked if we wanted the last ten minutes to look over what we had written. The boy said, "I'm an English major for a reason, I know how to write an essay, I'm good." She then looked at me, "English minor," I replied. So we got out ten minutes early ^^.

I met up with Lexi for brunch and then we headed to Corbin. We went shopping for her bridal shower gifts, she was very appreciative that I let her pick the styles of her gifts. She doesn't get to know what her gag gift is though, that's gonna be a surprise... hehe.

I got two really pretty shirts, one bright blue and one orange. I hate shopping for clothes but these were just to cute.

We then went shoe shopping for Lexi. She was looking for the tackiest pair of heels she could find to wear to graduation this year. "They may be able to tell me what to wear clothes wise but they can't decide on my shoes!" She found a pair of blue stiletto's.

Onto BAM (Books A Million), I found 3 books; The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod: Eighth Grade Bites, The Chronicles of Vladimir Tod: Ninth Grade Slays & Sunday's at Tiffany's by James Patterson. I have so much reading to do this summer! Reading List

We had to rush a bit to catch our movie, I thought it started later than what it did. We saw Obsessed. O...M...G... GOOD MOVIE! If you have been debating on whether or not to see this movie DO IT! It's fantastic and... and... the soundtrack is awesome and it's just... damn. I will buy it when it comes to DVD.

Lexi and I finished the night at El Dorado's Mexican restaurant. Sooooo yummy! Seriously, best cheesecake I have ever had in my life. Tonight was even better than the one we usually eat at in our college town. This site put caramel, chocolate and whipped cream on the outside. YUM! It was like a party in my mouth.

All in all, a great day if I do say so myself. :D

Beatrice Arthur, the tall, deep-voiced actress whose razor-sharp delivery of comedy lines made her a TV star in the hit shows "Maude" and "The Golden Girls" and who won a Tony Award for the musical "Mame," died Saturday. She was 86.

I honestly cannot express my deep sadness when reading this. I grew up on Golden Girl rerun's and still watch them today. They don't make shows with that kind of charm anymore.

I'm glad she passed away peacefully and with her family. She will be dearly missed.
