30 Day Writing Challenge: Day 2

Day 2 — Your Crush

It’s been a little over a year since I’ve had a crush who isn’t a celeb. Before that my crush was my current boyfriend. Honestly, I had had a crush on him for… about three years before that and we were friend for around four.

How did it start?

A topic on Advanced Anime about Loveless.



Oh yeah. That’s the thing crushes are made of right there. : )

It ended up being just the two of us keeping the topic alive for a few months, one posting just before it locked due to inactivity just so it wouldn’t die. Finally we decided to take it to our GBs.

The GB convos eventually went to us talking back and forth with screenshots from an anime called Princess Princess. Those were fun times. –snicker- It went to PMs then, lots and lots of PMs since you can’t reply after 200 on AA.



For awhile he went inactive and it was just me replying to the PM so it wouldn’t disappear, which they do after a month. I eventually told him after my third attempt of keeping the PM alive that this wasn’t fair. I think I may have also left him an IM. This made him feel really bad and he soon became more active.

Feelings grew and crush grew to like. After some meddling by a mutual friend we played a game of 20 questions that lasted a month to see if there was anything beyond us just enjoying talking to each other. Long story, a month of questions later, and another person’s meddling, we decided there was. And crush turned into a relationship.

Currently I’m in… hardcore like with him. I would say the other four letter “L” word but I really want to meet him before I say that. I just… don’t want to say it and take the chance of it not being true. I just couldn’t hurt him like that.
