30 Day Writing Challenge: Day 4

Day 4 — Your sibling (or closest relative)

Uh… well. I’m an only child. And really… I’m not super close to any of my cousins. Kaylea and I could have been twins when we were little but now, not so much. I’d chose Emily, but she’s 12 so there’s clearly some things from my 23 year old life that I can’t and won’t share with her.

Um… so… my dream sibling!

I always wanted an older brother. He would be two or three years older than me. His name would be Tristan Keith. He would have our dark brown hair but hopefully inherit my dad’s baby blue’s. Tristan would have our dad’s height and would love to work on the farm with our dad. I would hope that Tristan would also either share my love for Disney/anime or my love for books.

I think we would have a close relationship. He would be the typical big brother in school, pretending not to know me until someone else is picking on me and then he would jump in because the only person who can do that is him. Tristan would have that quiet, strong confidence and would randomly treat me to things.

I would like to think that Tristan would have some geek like qualities too… like he loved comic books or fanned over cars/trucks. Maybe he would have liked to play chess.

There’s a lot in the maybes up in the air for Tristan Keith.
