Ahhh Giuseppe Tartini's 'Devil's Trill Sonata', a very beautiful and technically difficult piece of music. Although not my favorite piece of Italian Baroque music, Venessa Mae has seemed to have brought out its best pieces. This song is actually much longer than the 3:45 mins, and I believe she is only playing either the 'Andante' or the 'Allegro-assai' part, I haven't listened to this in a while so I forget!

The reason why some listeners find it intriguing and beautiful to listen to is that it employs a very demanding and technical 'double stop trill'. Double stop is when very skilled players are able to play two different notes at the exact same time and a trill is the rapid alteration between those notes and another pair of adjacent notes. Its like your are hearing two violins at once when there actual only just one!
