Year in Fandom Meme
Your main fandom of the year?
Twilight. Though I drabbled in some Gundam Wing and Mortal Instruments, Twilight still reined supreme.
Your favorite film watched this year?
Okay, it’s not a new film but… Lord of the Rings: Return of the King, Special Extended Edition. Back in the summer for three weeks they put the special extended editions in theaters and I went to see ROTK with a friend. It was the most epic thing I’ve ever done so far.
Your favorite book read this year?
Water for Elephants by Sara Gruen. I fell in love on the first page and it just grew from there. Honestly one of the best books I’ve ever read.
Your favorite album or song to listen to this year?
Daughtry had a new CD come out. LOVE! Especially the song “Start of Something Good”.
Your favorite TV show of the year?
Criminal Minds. This year I really got into this show and I’m so glad I did, I’m addicted.
Your favorite LJ community of the year?
Er… I don’t really pay attention to the comms I’m part of? >.>;
Your best new fandom discovery of the year?
The Hunger Games. It’s a love it or hate it fandom and I love it.
Your biggest fandom disappointment of the year?
Um… Twilight. So many people have left it and it is an extremely boring fandom without them. But I still find myself inspired to do stuff for it.
Your TV boyfriend of the year?
Dr. Spencer Reid from Criminal Minds. He’s so sweet, and smart and cute!
Your TV girlfriend of the year?
Uh… no idea.
Your biggest squee moment of the year?
When Finnick O’Dare took the hospital gown off and was only in his underwear. –giggle-
The most missed of your old fandoms?
Lord of the Rings
The fandom you haven't tried yet, but want to?
I’d really love to dive into Infernal Devices or Mortal Instruments but I haven’t gotten to that point yet.
Your biggest fan anticipations for the New Year?
Forever by Maggie Stiefvater, The Iron Knight by Julie Kagawa, Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare and The Slayer Chronicles: First Kill by Heather Brewer.
