Alright, alright, I actually remember who it was. The anime was Ronin Warriors, my absolute fave anime. And the pairing was Ryo/Rowen.

Ryo's Secret - A Ronin Warriors fanfic I wrote and put up back in 2003. God... that's almost 10 years ago.

I've always been partial to the myths involving Puck or a Puck like figure.
