I finished student teaching guys!

Last Friday was my last day. Though, I have been back in the school to sub every day since then. I don't mind...I was looking forward to sleeping in though...at least I'm getting paid now.

My boss is supposed to let me know if I can have my summer job back this summer sometime this week or this weekend. I'm having a celebration party at my house to celebrate being done with student teaching.

I've applied for a position at the school I student taught at, hopefully I'll get an interview and maybe even the job. If not I guess I'll stick to subbing and if they still have the AWA program in the fall, maybe I'll keep that job too. Not ideal but money is money.

I've been watching Once Upon a Time season 1 when I have time. I'm just getting started on season 2. It's not bad so far, though I think some of the acting is quite stiff. I look forward to seeing what season 2 brings.

I've read 23 books toward my reading goal for this year, almost halfway there! I'm nearly done with 24, probably another day or so and I will be.

I'm keeping my fingers crossed that my cousin and I will get to go to DC for her grad trip, but right now it's looking like a no. Sigh, I really want to go!

So that's my life right now...not much going on.

It's been over a month since I posted...well...anything so I figured I had better do that.

I'm knee deep in my student teaching, 35 of 70 days in. I would be more into it (days wise) if not for having 13 or so snow days. We might get another snow day Monday. Ah well, just gives me more time to plan. I would also be more into it (not days wise) if I had any interest at all in teaching. As is though, I'm just doing this so that I can get my dream job of being a high school librarian later.

It's Saturday but I'm up at 7am so my Dad and I could move my mattress and box springs off my bed. Why? I bought new ones 2 weeks ago and they're supposed to deliver around 9am! I'm super excited.

I've been researching my genealogy and found the other night where some of my ancestors were one of the first ruling families in England! And by first I mean around 1000AD. It goes back further than that but I didn't have time to search last night.

If I were a good student I would be working on the unit on On Demand Writing and lesson plan over the Globe Theater I'll need for next week but...that can wait for this afternoon. I need to finish the wake up process. And food, I need to find something to eat.

Anyway, that's my life right now, pretty boring.

Another busy year, lots of unexpected events, but I still met my reading goal of reading 75 books! And with the gift cards I received for Christmas I have already bought 6 books on my Kindle Fire to start 2014 off with. I’m going to save my B&N gift cards for books that will be published in 2014.

I’m going to be student teaching the first part of 2014 so… my reading goal for 2014 is just going to be 50 books, as I don’t know how many I’ll get around to the first half of the year and then I have no idea what will happen the second half of the year.

Prompt: Part 2 of “Unanswered Request”.

Magnus hummed softly as he dipped the tea bag into a mug of steaming water. Making his own tea was a habit Alec had instilled in him…one he hadn’t been able to stop after their break up. He picked up the mug and started toward his neon orange sofa, then the pain hit. It was sudden and sharp, catching Magnus off guard, causing him to drop the mug in surprise. The mug shattered as it hit the floor, tea going everywhere. Chairman Meow looked up at the sudden noise, jumping from his spot on the coffee table to lick at the spilled tea. The tabby looked up as Magnus stumbled, grabbing hold of the couch with one hand and the other grasping at his chest, before going back to the tea.

Luka gripped the handlebars of his bike as he left his school. His mouth was tight with worry, lips set in a frown. He was worried about his Dad; even though his Papa and the rest of the family assured him Seth would be fine. Seth had grown weaker over the past three months since his pregnancy had been discovered. Luka knew he was resting and eating well, but still he worried. He remembered the memories Embry had shared with him of his Dad’s pregnancy with him…it had been horrible; he had nearly died in Jacob’s opinion. Turning down the dirt path toward Embry’s cabin he sped up a bit, anxious to talk to his imprint.

He sighed, preparing himself for sharing his baby with someone other than Jasper, Carlisle and Esme. “Come in.” The door opened, Leah and Lilliana looked at him questioningly. Seth rolled his eyes at them and jerked his head for them to come in. Leah sat on one side of him and Lilliana sat on the other.

Lilliana rested her head on Seth’s shoulder. Nearly thirty-five years old and Seth was still her favorite uncle. She had been so worried about him during his pregnancy. “I missed you Uncle Seth.”

So I was bored and decided to put some of my Twilight drabbles/one-shots in “order”. The following are Twilight drabbles that relate to Jasper & Seth’s relationship and their family in my head cannon. There are some AU’s at the bottom too… yeah; I have AU’s of my own head cannon. There might be some inconsistencies, my head cannon was still developing while I was writing this but I think overall they’re pretty consistent.
