1. What fandoms have you written for? Italicize your currently active ones!
Ronin Warriors, Yu Yu Hakusho, Lord of the Rings, Gundam Wing/AC, Yu-Gi-Oh, Escaflowne, X-Men: Evolution, Beyblade, Star Wars, Card Captor Sakura, Harry Potter, Tin Man, Blood Ties, Twilight, Ouran High School Host Club, and Princess Tutu
2. What pairings and genres do you find yourself writing over and over?
Jaspeth (Jasper/Seth, Twilight), KaiTala (Beyblade), RemusSirius (HP) & HikaruKaoru (OHSHC).
3. What's one fic you've written that you think is kinda under appreciated?
I really don’t know… I guess “What if I Said” from the Yu-Gi-Oh fandom. It didn’t receive any reviews at all.
4. What characters do you write so in-character it's kinda scary? Why do you do it so damned well!?
Cain & Glitch from the Tin Man fandom. They were just so easy, especially Glitch.
5. What genres and characters are outside of your comfort zone? Why?
I don’t do anger… very well. I have to be just in the right mood for it to come out perfectly and I’m rarely in that mood.
6. What are the best three fanfics, in your opinion, that you've ever written? Link us, please!
The Dance from the Yu Yu Hakusho fandom. I worked on this fic for two years before posting it. I wanted it to be absolutely perfect. I think I finally found that perfection with what I posted in the end.
So Close from the Tin Man fandom. I spent days listening to the song from the Enchanted soundtrack that inspired this fic. Days to get the mood just right. I love everything about this fic.
Until Hope Awakes Me from the LOTR fandom. I can’t believe I’ve had this fic on hold since 2007 >.>. I spent so much time doing research only to be hit with the worse case of writer’s block EVER three chapters from the end. I’m determined to eventually finish it though.
7. Pick out three lines from the fics in question 6 that are gonna knock our socks off.
From “The Dance”: Kurama sighed and lay his head on Kuroune's shoulder as they danced. Kuroune's fingers played with his hair making him purr in pleasure. Right now it was just them.
From “So Close”: At this moment they were the only two in the room, pressed close, especially during the turns of the dance. Cain could feel parts of his body that he hadn't paid attention to in years… like the tips of his toes.
From “Until Hope Awakes Me”: You have saved me from passing into grief and falling into the darkness but something still pulls at my soul. I have put much thought into this and after many hours of reading in your library…I have come to a time when forever just seems to long... so I shall sleep until hope awakes me.
8. Have you ever won an award for a fanfic?
Hm… I have received “Best Original & Fanfiction Writer” on AdvancedAnime but as far as an award from an actual awards comm…. No. Maybe one day that will change.
9. How long have you been writing for? Can you find a short passage from an early work to show us your improvement?
My ff.net account was created in 2003. I wrote my first fanfic in… 1999 but never posted anywhere. I really sucked back then. The quote is from a Ronin Warrior fanfic I wrote in 2003.
"Good luck Ryo and keep safe." Sir whispered after Ryo had disappeared. Ryo made his way to the woods where White Blaze was; then they left to live in the mountains until Talpa attacked. All the while keeping Ryo's little boy Akira a secret.
10. What inspires you to write a fanfic?
Music inspires me a lot. And really random things, like a snippet of conversation, a cloud, a sound… anything really.
