Day 04 - Your favorite book or series ever
I read a lot of series... so this one is a little tough. Each of the series that I read has it's own perks, strengths and weaknesses... but, -drum roll-

Mark A. Roeder is a very good writer. His website has more info, summeries and such on his books: http://www.markroeder.com/ He lives in southern Indiana and has a fangroup on Yahoo. Mark is one of the few authors I know that includes a contact email on his books. Because of this I have been able to talk to him once or twice. Mark is also one of the few authors I know that actively interacts with his fans, not only on the fangroup but also meeting fans. Each year the fangroup organizes a trip to Fort Wayne, Indiana and Mark gives a tour of the cities that inspire his books. I haven't been able to go yet but I really want to.
I'm slowly collecting all the books of the series. Right now I have 14/21 (not including the unpublished one's). I can't wait to own them all.
I would recommend them to basically... anyone.

Date: 2010-09-05 05:11 am (UTC)After that my all time second favourite is the HARRY POTTER Series. I had the joy of anticipation, waiting patiently each year or years for the next release. The next generation will never have that thrill, but it will be a series read for generations.
