Book Meme: Day 21

elvenavariDay 21 - Favorite romantic/sexual relationship (including asexual romantic relationships)
I kinda feel bad for saying so but any of my favorite relationships always include a bit of angst. When I think about the top angst couple Brenden and Casper from A Better Place come to mind. One never would have put them together in the first place but they came together and are my fave couple of the Gay Youth Chronicles.
Of course their relationship couldn't be easy. Once it was discovered Brenden had to escape from the hospital he was put in by his parents to "cure" him. Casper had to escape his psychotic brother and neglectful father. Then they were on the run for months. Of course they learned a lot about each other during those months on the road, then winter came. Casper got sick and to pay for the doctor visit, the medicine and a hotel room... Brenden had to do something that he will forever regret... selling himself to an older woman for a few hours.
But Brenden would do anything for Casper and that... that is love.
