Day 06 – Your day, in great detail
Oh great… you guys get to see how boring my life really is.
I was feeling tired last night and as such I went to bed early (early meaning 11pm). Because I went to bed early I also woke up early. At 9am I checked my alarm clock to see what time it was. I had my alarm set for 10:30 so I figured 9 was too early to get up. I attempted to go back to sleep but sleep refused to come so around 9:15 I got up and checked my email.
Ever since I updated my spyware software my laptop likes to freeze after I sign in. It takes about 10 minutes to unfreeze… but other than that I can’t tell that anything is wrong with it. I checked my IMs, nothing from overnight and no one I usually talk to was on.
At 10am I went upstairs, said “morn’n” to my mom and then went to take a shower. Recently I’ve been listening to Savage Garden while in the shower. Savage Garden is so awesome. I was deeply saddened when they broke up. But! They make great shower singing music in case you didn’t already know that. One of their songs inspired me to try my hand at making my own Twilight fanvid to it… just need to get the movie clips now. Any suggestions?
After my shower I got ready while watching Wife Swap. Once I was ready I unhooked an old computer to take it as a donation to the local Humane Society. My mom also got them 2 bottles of bleach and 2 bottles of Pine…stuff. When I walked in with two of the bottles the girl, who I actually went to high school with, her eyes widened and she said “Thank you!” She was so excited when I told her there was more in my car. Together we got the rest of the cleaning stuff and the computer parts and took them inside.
My great aunt is having a yard sale outside the town the Humane Society is in and I had bought some Indian corn for her so I went out to see her. We talked for a few minutes; I gave her the corn, which she loved. I’m excited because she said that I could bring a few things over to the yard sale and she would sale them for me. Hopefully I’ll make a little money this weekend!
Leaving the yard sale I went to Hometown Pizza to pick up my and my mom’s lunch. I had fun jamming out to music on the way back. I also rode with the windows down because it is such a nice day out.
I got the mail for my mom when I got home and took our food in. I ate my lunch, talked with my mom, chilled outside with some of our sweeter (tame) cats and then came downstairs to my room. I realized last night that one of my more important folders had disappeared. I found software today that will recover files. You can download it for free but guess what… it won’t recover without you registering it a.k.a. paying for it. –sigh- Cause those docs are gone.
Now I’m getting ready to read something for
starry_nights88… after that… I don’t know. I’ll prolly go through my room and find stuff to put in the yard sale. Later I’ll eat super and go back to sleep.
We’ll just have to see!
