Seth stood under the street lamp on fifty-eighth and ninth. A bubble of watermelon flavored gum appeared from between his lips, popped and he pulled it back in.
“Slow night,” he muttered. Just as he said this a car pulled up along the corner he was standing on. A sleek black Mustang. Seth felt a grin tug at his lips. ‘Money,’ he thought.
The passenger side window rolled down and he stepped up to the car. The windows were darkly tinted making it nearly impossible to see the male figure that was seated behind the steering wheel. Seth caught just a flash of blonde hair in the dim light.
“Looking for a good time?” Seth questioned.
“Perhaps. What are your terms?” The thick southern accent went straight to Seth’s groin.
“One fifty per hour with a condom, an extra fifty for anything without, I can handle whatever your kink is as long as it doesn’t involve knives or whips. I don’t mind being on the top or bottom and I swallow if you’re clean,” Seth stated.
“Agreed, get in.”
Seth opened the door and slid into the passenger seat. The Mustang pulled away from the corner slowly from the curb, moving nearly silently through the streets toward the East side. Seth glanced over at the man out the corner of his eye. He fought a grin. His slow night turned out to be lucky. This guy was fucking gorgeous.
“Enjoying yourself already?”
“How did you know?” The man hadn’t taken his eyes off the road once.
A little smirk appeared on the man’s lips. “I’m good at sensing other’s feelings.”
“Uh-huh. But to answer your question, yeah I am.”
“That’s good because I can promise you; this will be a night you won’t forget anytime soon.”
“I’ve heard that line before.”
The man hummed softly and reached out, laying a pale hand on Seth’s knee. A finger stroked Seth’s skin through the rip in his jeans. Goosebumps rose on his skin. “Fuck! You’re freezing!” The man laughed. He kept his hand in place for the rest of the drive.
Seth had had a few upscale clients before but none that had ever invited him back to their place. This guy keyed in a code at a private parking garage and then led him to a pent house on the 7th floor. Once inside the pent house the man turned to him and Seth felt his breath freeze in his throat at the look in the other’s golden eyes. For the first time he felt fear.
The man reached forward and cupped his cheek. “Don’t be afraid, I’m not going to hurt you. As I promised… this will be a night you won’t forget.”
Seth shivered. “W-why are you so cold?”
That smirk appeared again. “Call it a perk of vampirism.”
