Drabble: Kiss the Rain

Prompt: in a meadow but rain interuppts but kinda keep on going



Seth’s eyes were wide as he sat beside Jacob in their meadow, their fingers laced together between them, watching Jacob slowly lean in. When their lips met there was no electric shock as he had seen in movies… but it was very warm. Seth’s eyes closed and he leaned into the kiss. It was everything he had wanted for their first kiss…

The first cold drop of rain on his cheek was a shock. So much so that Seth pulled back with a gasp. He glanced up at the sky and then back at Jacob when Jacob’s fingers tightened on his.

“Want to head in before the storm hits?” Jacob questioned.

“Not if you’re going to kiss me again.”

Jacob grinned, a chuckle working its way out of his chest. “I can do that.” He leaned in capturing Seth’s lips again as they rain started to fall heavier.
