Engagement and Epic Failure

Okay, so it's not my engagement but it's one of my best friend's and I'm so excited for her I could burst. We all knew it was coming just not when. I love her boy to death, he's a real sweetheart. I always tell her, "If I can catch a guy half as great as him I'll be set."
They went to this place called Dollywood/Pigeon Forge and went up on the mountain to take some pictures. There were people at the outlook so he told her to wait until they were gone. He repeatedly told her that he loved her, that he wanted to spend the rest of his life with her and pulled something out of his pocket.
He got down on one knee and the people running the chair lifts that bring you to the top of the mountain saw it and stopped the chairs so it wouldn't be noisy. He asked her, she started bawling and then jumping up and down said, "Yesyesyesyesyes!" And then they hugged and kissed and people all around them clapped.
And now here's my downer to this happy entry.
I. Am. An. Epic. Failure.
So this is my 5th year at my college. I will be graduating in May. My parents have told me that I have to graduate in May, they can't afford for me to go here any longer. Normally a person would be happy about graduating right? I will be getting a Bachelor of Arts in Art with a minor in English.
...I should be getting my Education degree along with that. But I'm not.
It is a state requirement that you have a 21 on your ACT (I have an 18, have taken it 4 times) or you pass all the sections of the PPST; Reading, Writing and Math. The scores you need to be considered passing are, in the aforementioned order, 173, 172, 173. What do I have? Reading - 178, so I'm good there, Writing - 171 (not once, but twice!), Math - 167. I really suck at math so I would be okay if it was just that but I don't really suck at writing, grammar isn't my strong suit but I don't completely suck at it! But yeah, you need these to take two Education classes at my college and to be admitted into formal teacher education. The school hold's it's interviews in October. They don't offer the PPST again until late November and the scores wouldn't be in until we are on Christmas break. The next time they do the interviews is around March, and it's to late to sign up for classes then.
I feel completely retched that I cannot get the test scores I need. I have bought the books to study for the test. I have gotten tutoring in both of my lacking areas. I have spoken with numerous professors but what it really all comes down to is that I have just run out of time.
And I have no idea how to tell my mom.
I'm such a failure...
