Date: 2010-04-26 11:49 pm (UTC)Jasper knew Seth was in the shower not because he could hear the water running in their bathroom, not because he could smell the moist air, but because he could hear Seth singing. Jasper raised his eyebrow at the selection that Seth was singing today. It had to be an invitation if he ever heard one. Grinning Jasper went to their bedroom and quickly shed his clothes before stepping into the bathroom. Steam filled the room and he knew Seth wasn’t paying enough attention to see him enter.
Using every bit of stealth he would when hunting he stepped into the shower behind Seth. The younger’s back was to him, his arms up as he rubbed the shampoo into his hair. Jasper grinned again as he wrapped his arms around Seth’s waist, “I love you baby,” he sang softly into Seth’s ear as his lover’s heart rate returned to normal from the shock of someone being in the shower with him. “Trust in me when I say… oh, pretty baby, don’t bring me down, I pray… Oh, pretty baby, now that I found you, stay… And let me love you, baby… Let me love you…”
Seth smiled as they swayed left and right. Jasper continued to hum in his ear until Seth turned and wrapped his arms around Jasper’s neck. “You’re just too good to be true. Can’t take my eyes off you… you’d be like Heaven to touch…” Seth sang. “I wanna hold you so much. At long last love has arrived… and I thank God I’m alive… you’re just too good to be true…” Seth pressed a light kiss to Jasper’s lips. “Can’t take my eyes off you.”

“You just have to move on.”
Jacob looked between the three who had just said those words; Sam, Embry and Quil… his eyes sought out Seth, the one who seemed to be able to read people the best, but the youngest shifter was just staring down at the floor. Was it really true then? Edward really didn’t care about anything that had taken place between them?
“Get out of my face, all of you,” Jacob sighed standing. “I’ll deal with this but I just… I need time. Just give me time…”
Jacob didn’t wait for their replies before he went outside and phased. He didn’t spare a thought for the clothes he had just shredded; his thoughts were only on Edward and their goodbye. He just couldn’t believe that all that… everything that had happened between them meant nothing…
He ran until he came to the tree line that led into Forks. He could smell Edward, Jasper and Emmett. His eyes locked on Edward immediately and he struggled to mask his thoughts so the vampire wouldn’t detect him, he was standing upwind so he didn’t worry about the other smelling him. Jacob watched as they discussed something, probably what movie to see or something.
‘God… he’s gorgeous…’
Edward turned and looked toward where Jacob was standing but Jacob could tell by the look in his eyes that he didn’t see him. He had stared into those eyes to many times to be fooled by the look in them. The worst look ever was the one that had been in Edward’s eyes the moment he had said goodbye.
It was pure, pure sadness and pain. That was the first thought Jacob had when he met up with Edward that day and met his gaze. Edward’s eyes were always so expressive and that was what they said that day.
“This is the end of us. Goodbye.” Edward had turned away then.
“What…the…hell…” Edward paused but didn’t turn around. “Bastard you can’t just have me meet you and end our relationship like that.”
“I can. And I did.” And Edward walked away.
Jacob whined softly closing his eyes. When he opened his eyes again he caught Edward’s gaze and this time he knew his ex saw him. Edward held Jacob’s gaze before he turned away, walking into the movie theater. Jacob lowered his head and turned back into the forest, missing the looks Jasper and Emmett gave him before they followed their brother inside.
“Edward… you are both in such pain,” Jasper said softly.
“Yeah bro, wouldn’t it just be easier to be together and tell the rest of the world to fuck themselves?” Emmett questioned.
“Tell the Volturi to fuck themselves?” Edward murmured. “I’m sure they would appreciate that… no this is easier.”
“It may be easier,” Jasper started.
“But that doesn’t make it right,” Emmett finished.

Looking around a smile formed on his lips as he spotted the boy reclining on a prop couch, eyes glued to his Blackberry. Jackson was almost to Boo Boo when Robert clapped him on the shoulder.
“Can I help you Rob?” Jackson questioned.
“Just wanted to tell you that you did good in that scene,” Robert told him with a grin. Jackson had to fight to not roll his eyes. Robert was flirting…again.
“Thanks Rob, you didn’t do so bad yourself. Now, please excuse me,” Jackson said and continued on his way to Boo Boo. Robert watched him go blinking but then he shrugged and looked around, his grin widening when he spotted Taylor.
“Hey Taylor!”
Jackson shook his head as Robert ran after the younger boy. He finally reached Boo Boo’s side, but the boy was so engrossed in what he was reading that he didn’t notice him. Jackson was curious as to what could be so interesting. “Hey Boo, what’cha reading?”
Boo Boo jumped at the sound of Jackson’s voice and a blush rose to his cheeks.
Jackson raised an eyebrow, ‘Oh this has to be interesting…’
“H-hey Jackson, um… I was just reading some… fanmail…” The younger stammered.
“Fanmail? On your Blackberry?” Jackson questioned.
Boo Boo ran a hand through his short hair, the blush deepening on his cheeks. “Okay so it was a link that a fan sent me in some fanmail. But you’ll probably think its gross; I know I was pretty shocked when I first started reading it.”
“But now you like it?” Jackson questioned.
“I guess… I mean… it’s interesting…”
“Let me see?” Jackson asked holding out his hand for the Blackberry. Boo Boo swallowed thickly as he pulled the device from his pocket and handed it over.
“I bookmarked it for something to do between scenes… there’s a couple of writers in the community who are pretty into it.”
“Livejournal? Jaspeth?” Jackson questioned.
Boo Boo nodded. “The two I mentioned are starry_nights88 and avari_maethor, they seem to write stuff and post it the most.”
Jackson nodded as he read the community’s description. “Jaspeth, the sweetest forbidden fruit. Jaspeth is your collective home for all things related to the underloved couple JasperSeth…” Jackson raised his eyes to look at Boo Boo, who was blushing even more now. “You mean these writers pair the characters that we act together in…situations?”
Boo Boo nodded. “Yeah… quite a few of them include um… sex…”
“Really?” Jackson questioned intrigued.
“There’s another that is completely dedicated to Jacob/Edward,” Boo Boo added when he didn’t see disgust on Jackson’s face.
Jackson laughed. “I bet Rob would love to see that!”
Boo Boo laughed as well. “So what do you…think?” He questioned.
“What do you mean?”
“Well I thought you would be grossed out. But you actually seem pretty interested.”
“I’m not grossed out; I can assure you of that. In fact… I’m glad you let me see this. What do you think of it?”
“I think it’s hot.” Jackson raised an eyebrow at the younger boy in front of him. Boo Boo clapped a hand over his mouth and his eyes widened when he realized what he had said. He hadn’t meant to say that to Jackson!
“Do you?” Jackson questioned in amusement. He stepped closer to the younger and tipped his chin up. “That’s good, because I think so too.” Jackson leaned down and pressed a innocent kiss to the corner of Boo Boo’s mouth.
